Millionaire Matchmaker

Have you ever watched Millionaire Matchmaker on Bravo? Sean and I have been talking about speed dating and online dating and I decided to watch this show last night. It was quite entertaining but I don't think I can get Sean to watch it. Patti Stanger owns this company that caters to wealthy men looking for partners. She's supposed to match single wealthy people with potential spouses. The episode I watched was where these two friends own this junk pick-up company and they were both searching for women. The one guy made his date pick up trash which she didn't seem to happy about it after stating she had just gotten a manicure. I don't want to admit that I will probably watch this show again and hopefully I can get Sean to watch one episode!

People Who Don't Deserve To Be Millionaires

We found this article that talked about undeserving millionaires and we agreed with the article. Here are some examples of people:
William Hung-Famous for being untalented.
Perez Hilton-The more annoying he gets, the richer he gets.
Jon & Kate-How they turned their creepy, boring lives into piles of cash will always remain a mystery.
Nadya Suleman-Another freak show exploiting her ability to procreate.
Jared Fogle-If you saw him in line in front of you at Subway, wouldn't you be tempted to beat him silly with a stale wheat bun?

Do you agree with the list? Are there other people you know who shouldn't be millionaires?

Conan O'Brien Is Leaving NBC

It's official that Conan O'Brien is leaving NBC. Tonight is his last show which will include guests Will Ferrell, Tom Hanks and Neil Young. We think Conan should go to Fox next year and that will teach NBC a lesson. Conan gets to leave with $45 million but will have to wait until at least September 1st until he can go back on TV. His staff should be thankful because they will get $12 million that will have to be divided up but not too shabby. Conan had Robin Williams on the show last night and it was pretty funny. We've posted the clip below. What do you think about Conan O'Brien leaving? Do you want Jay Leno to return?

Do You Lie About Being Married To Get Upgrades?

Earlier we talked about how being married has its privileges and even pretending to be married has its privileges. It's typical that a couple on their honeymoon could receive a room upgrade at their hotel or even an upgrade to first class on their flight. Even if you aren't married, this rule could still apply. Sean and I admit that we've pretended to be married to get a room upgrade or free drinks for the night. We wouldn't want to say we've lied, but really what's the harm in doing it just once. Have you ever lied about being on your honeymoon to get an upgrade or any other type of special treatment? Have you ever said it was your birthday to get something for free?

Pants On The Ground

Everyone has been talking about the contestant on American Idol who sang his original song Pants On The Ground in Atlanta the other night. Larry Pratt is a 63 year old civil rights veteran who sang the song and now it's become an internet sensation. Even Simon Cowell said he had a horrible feeling that this song could be a hit. Here's what David Cook said: "Caught the west coast feed of AI tonight. Pants On The Ground. Priceless." Pratt was on Access Hollywood and he's also supposed to appear on The View. He says he made up the song years ago saying it's about kids and older folks walking around with their pants down. We've posted the video below. It's really entertaining!

Another Season Of American Idol!

American Idol returned last night and they started the auditions in Boston. Our first favorite was the girl who was horrible but then kept saying Kara was Paula. She obviously didn't make the cut. Then there was Pat, a 17-year-old guy with a girly take on the Britney Spears song "Womanizer." He was aweful and told Simon he was sassier in person than on TV. There was also an Italian Boston guy who did really well and made it through to Hollywood. Then there was this creepy guy Andrew Fenlon who said he was irritated by the long wait to audition. This only made the judges angry, especially Kara who eventually said, "I am now angry at you, who I don't like at all." Victoria Beckham was the guest judge who then added that Fenlon was arrogant without the talent to back it up. Ouch that had to hurt! Our favorite comment was regarding Norberto Guerrero, who the judges said he was flat and out of tune. Simon wrapped it up with "You sing like a three year old girl and dress like LaToya Jackson. The whole thing was weird." Idol is on tonight and they will be in Atlanta. We look forward to more horrible auditions!

It's Been A Quiet Year For Some Celebrities

A new year usually means more issues and scandals for celebrities. But so far it seems that everyone is taking a break and hiding out. Tiger is hiding out and staying out of the spotlight for now and even Miley Cyrus is behaving herself. We always love a good scandal so we're ready for them to start happening again. But Jon Gosselin never lets us down because there are rumors that he has a new girlfriend! Stay tuned for more details.

Another Season Of American Idol

Sean and I are ready for another season of American Idol! We are happy to report that Idol returns next week and of course it's a two night premiere. Sean likes it once they get to Hollywood, but I really like the auditions they show with all of the crazy people! It will also be interesting to have Ellen Degeneres as a judge and we can no longer make fun of Paula. Making fun of Paula and trying to figure out what she's saying was always our favorite part. But will Ellen correct Simon when he's being rude? We've posted a clip of some of the worst auditions throughout the years. Enjoy!

Do You Have Any Resolutions?

It's a new year which means time for resolutions! Did you make any resolutions? Sean and I said we wanted to go to the gym more and eat healthier. We were reading an article last week that said to not over do your resolutions. They suggested only making one resolution because it would be easier to stick with. The article also said that if you get off track then you shouldn't worry about it and to just get back on track as soon as you can. It's a new year which means new possibilities!
