New Years Resolutions

It's time to make those new years resolutions! What is your plan for the new year? Both Erin and I agree that exercising more and eating healthy is on the top of our list. Who's the hardest person to shop for?

Hopefully you have your Christmas shopping done but if not, you still have a few more days. There's always that one person on your list that you never know what to buy them. It always seems to take forever to find something. Erin says she always has a hard time buying something for her dad. I think I would agree that it's always hard to buy something for dad. Mom places ad in paper for her son to find love

The other day, a mom put an ad in the Tampa Tribune trying to find love for her son. She said all she really wanted was for her professional son to get married! Erin and I both think it's pretty funny that she would do that. Apparently women can send their information to the mom and she'll pass it along to her son who says he will meet with every girl. Erin's best friend lives in Florida and plans to send something along. We'll let you know if she hears back from this guy so we can give you an update!

Christmas Party Etiquette

It's never a good thing to embarrass yourself at a Christmas party, especially if it's your work party! We'll talk about tips to prevent you from being the most talked about person the next day. Dealing With Unusual Christmas Gifts

There's always someone who has to get you a Christmas gift that isn't that great and you have to respond politely and thanking them for it. This can be a hard task because you don't want to hurt their feelings. We wanted to know if you've been in this situation and how you would handle it. Some listeners called in to share their stories. Christmas Gifts

We want to know if you have any stories of getting something really aweful for your dad for Christmas. We found a list of gifts that you should never get your dad, but as Erin pointed out, some of those things she has gotten for her dad in the past. We'll tell you about them and then let us know what you think.

White Elephant Gifts

So it's that time of year for Christmas parties and bringing gifts to the party. We have a white elephant exchange which means bringing something you already own, but that you haven't used in a while. It can't be broken either and it must be in good taste. Erin and I have no clue what to bring this year. If you have any ideas for us, let us know!

Black Friday

Today is the biggest shopping day of the year and it's been insane at the malls. Our friend Carrie was out earlier and giving us updates on how busy it was. One listener we talked to had been waiting in line since 7pm last night. Let us know if you like to go shopping today for all the deals. And if you were out, let us know what you bought. Thanksgiving

We want you to have a great Thanksgiving! Enjoy the day and eat a lot of food. If you decide to get up early on Friday and go shopping, give us a call. We would love to hear from anyone who is out trying to get those holiday deals!

Holidays with the In-Laws

Of course it's time for the holidays and it can be stressful going to visit the in-laws. We talked about it this morning on how to deal with it. A few people called in to tell us how they handle their in-laws. If you have any stories to share, let us know!

Thanksgiving Traditions

Thanksgiving is next week and we talked earlier about traditions you may have. It could even be what food you must always have on the table. Sean must always have stuffing on Thanksgiving. One tradition my friends and I do is play touch football in the morning. In terms of food, I must always have stuffing and jello! Do you have any rituals or food that you must have on Thanksgiving? Snow

So we couldn't believe the snow from earlier. At least we didn't get as much as they had predicted. But Erin and I both agreed that we aren't ready for this weather yet! We don't think it's supposed to snow until after Thanksgiving. That should really be the rule. So bundle up and get ready because we're supposed to get more later on!

Entertainment News

Once again another celebrity has put their foot in their mouth while talking. The latest one is Lindsay Lohan as she made a comment about President elect Barack Obama calling him "The first colored President". Her rep still hasn't replied to the statement and apparently Lindsay is hiding out in London for the time being. You can watch the video below of Lindsay. Once again, think before you speak!

What Luxury Can You Not Live Without?

With the economy the way it is, we realize that we need to cut back on our spending. Obviously there are going to be items you can't give up no matter what. Sean would never get rid of satellite tv and I don't know if I could give up my dvr. Is there something you couldn't live without no matter what?

Facebook and Myspace

So we talked this morning about people getting fired for posting comments on their Facebook or Myspace pages about their jobs. 13 people were fired from an airline for bad mouthing the company and their customers. We also read that an employee at a retail store got fired because she talked about her co-workers on Facebook. What do you think? Do you think it's fair if an employee gets fired for saying negative things about the company on these sites? Let us know.

Grey's Anatomy

It's another episode of Grey's Anatomy tonight. I think the show continues to get better each week. I know people that I talked to thought the first few episodes weren't that great. So today remember to vote! We had fun this morning asking our listeners if they would vote for myself or Erin for President. Erin in the end won so congrats to her. Halloween Movies

So our week of Halloween fun continues. Erin and I talked about scary Halloween movies this morning. I think Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a scary one and Erin thought When a Stranger calls was pretty scary. A couple of people called in to share their movies so check those out in our audio clips. Halloween Candy

So we talked this morning about getting bad Halloween Candy. I'm of course a fan of chocolate so usually anything chocolate works for me! Sean and I have both agreed that getting fruit is never fun. I remember getting an orange once and I was very disappointed. Speaking of Halloween, join us for the Halloween stroll at Sanborn Park on Saturday. Nosy Questions

Everyone has experienced that annoying nosy question. It could be anything from "Do you make good money?", to "When are you having a baby"? It's always difficult and you never know what to say. School Clothes

We talked about how kids dress for school and we wanted to know what you think kids should or shouldn't wear to school. We both agreed that guys needed to pull their pants up and stop showing us their underwear! We also thought girls that wore clothes showing their stomachs or thongs shouldn't be allowed either! Call us old fashioned, but there is a way to still look nice without showing everything. A few listeners called in to let us know what drives them crazy so feel free to listen to the clips. So of course there has been some great TV shows on this season, including my favorite Grey's Anatomy. I think I'm slowly convincing Sean to watch it! Although he tends to admit that he's starting to get into it because his girlfriend watches it. But sure it's ok to admit you like it. It is a good show. Elections

With the election one month away, debates have taken place between the candidates for President and Vice President. Elections can be a stressful time for some, while for others it's another way to make fun. Saturday Night Live has done a few skits and they're pretty funny. See below one of episodes! Enjoy!

My Girlfriends Birthday

Ok so you will be happy to know that I remembered my girlfriend's birthday on Sunday. I did forget about the last two years but I've made up for it. I took her to dinner yesterday and then I brought a cake to a friends party on Saturday which she was surprised about. So I really think I'm off the hook. Not to mention, she gets massages every week since I've forgotten in the past! I mean come on. Erin thinks I shouldn't be off the hook yet, but my girlfriend is going to call in tomorrow and let us know if I am. Let me know what you think.

Ways to Save Money

So we talked this morning about ways to save money to cut back on your bills. Sean and his girlfriend light candles instead of using the lights. He said he was going to start using the fire place more this winter. They're also thinking about getting rid of their home phone. I just changed my cable bill because it was getting so expensive and sometimes I don't turn on lights when I'm at home! A few listeners called in and gave some great tips to save as well. Ok so everything is ok between the cast of 90210 and Gossip Girl. It was suggested that the 90210 girls eat some cheeseburgers but they don't seem to upset by the comment. They just laughed it off. So it looks like all is well for now!!

Ok the cat fight might start between the cast of Gossip Girl and 90210. One of the co-stars from Gossip Girl suggested that the girls from 90210 should start eating some cheeseburgers! We'll have more details for you in entertainment news tomorrow. You gotta love it!

What do you do?

Last week, we talked about the story where five children got attacked by a pit bull at school. In today's news, the owner of the dog isn't being charged because police found out the owner was hit by a car and the dog ran off. There will still be a hearing because people want to see the pit bull put to sleep. Sean doesn't think they should do this and I'm torn about it. He thinks it wouldn't be fair. I think that one hand, this dog attacked 5 kids and what if it happens again? If you have a comment, let us know.
