Halloween Movies

So our week of Halloween fun continues. Erin and I talked about scary Halloween movies this morning. I think Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a scary one and Erin thought When a Stranger calls was pretty scary. A couple of people called in to share their movies so check those out in our audio clips. Halloween Candy

So we talked this morning about getting bad Halloween Candy. I'm of course a fan of chocolate so usually anything chocolate works for me! Sean and I have both agreed that getting fruit is never fun. I remember getting an orange once and I was very disappointed. Speaking of Halloween, join us for the Halloween stroll at Sanborn Park on Saturday. Nosy Questions

Everyone has experienced that annoying nosy question. It could be anything from "Do you make good money?", to "When are you having a baby"? It's always difficult and you never know what to say. Obviously sometimes it's just none of their business! Let us know what you think about these types of questions. Some people said they hate it when someone asks how old they are. School Clothes

We talked about how kids dress for school and we wanted to know what you think kids should or shouldn't wear to school. We both agreed that guys needed to pull their pants up and stop showing us their underwear! We also thought girls that wore clothes showing their stomachs or thongs shouldn't be allowed either! Call us old fashioned, but there is a way to still look nice without showing everything. A few listeners called in to let us know what drives them crazy so feel free to listen to the clips. Grey's

So of course there has been some great TV shows on this season, including my favorite Grey's Anatomy. I think I'm slowly convincing Sean to watch it! Although he tends to admit that he's starting to get into it because his girlfriend watches it. But sure it's ok to admit you like it. It is a good show. Elections

With the election one month away, debates have taken place between the candidates for President and Vice President. Elections can be a stressful time for some, while for others it's another way to make fun. Saturday Night Live has done a few skits and they're pretty funny. See below one of episodes! Enjoy!

My Girlfriends Birthday

Ok so you will be happy to know that I remembered my girlfriend's birthday on Sunday. I did forget about the last two years but I've made up for it. I took her to dinner yesterday and then I brought a cake to a friends party on Saturday which she was surprised about. So I really think I'm off the hook. Not to mention, she gets massages every week since I've forgotten in the past! I mean come on. Erin thinks I shouldn't be off the hook yet, but my girlfriend is going to call in tomorrow and let us know if I am. Let me know what you think.

Ways to Save Money

So we talked this morning about ways to save money to cut back on your bills. Sean and his girlfriend light candles instead of using the lights. He said he was going to start using the fire place more this winter. They're also thinking about getting rid of their home phone. I just changed my cable bill because it was getting so expensive and sometimes I don't turn on lights when I'm at home! A few listeners called in and gave some great tips to save as well.
